Layout "It's not the years in your life that count. It's the life inyour years" (sketchabilities)

Hoy es día 15, y eso significa que es día de layouts en Sketchabilities! Esta plantilla (la número 53) es fantástica. Elegí una foto de mi abuela y empecé a rebuscar papeles que le fuesen bien, así que al final he usado papeles de muchísimas colecciones y marcas distintas, en vez de una sola colección.

It's 15th and that means...reveal day at Sketchabilities! this sketch (#53) was amazing, I've had so much fun working with it! I chose a photo of my grandmother and then searched through my stash to find papers that would fit it, so this layout has papers from many different brands and collections.


Envejecí un montón y superpuse muchas capas de papeles, que son de The Girls Paperie (vintage whimsy), Fancy Pants (love birds y roadshow), Graphic45 (Once upon a springtime) y  October Afternoon (farmhouse). Además usé un rubon de American Crafts y sellos de mariposas de prima para decorar el fondo.

I did lots of distressing and layering. The papers are from The Girls Paperie (vintage whimsy), Fancy Pants (love birds and roadshow), Graphic45 (Once upon a springtime) and October Afternoon (farmhouse). I also used an American Crafts rubon and some Prima butterfly stamps to decorate the background paper. 



La mariposa es de Kaisercraft. La pinté con gesso y, una vez seco, con glimmer glaze. Después le di un poco de tinta distress (vintage photo).

The butterfly is from Kaisercraft, I painted it with gesso and, once it was dry, glimmer glaze. Finally added a little bit of distress ink (vintage photo). 


Las flores son de Prima. Eran blancas y usé un Glimmer Mist (Rose Tea) y un glimmer casero con brushed corduroy para cambiarles el color. El resultado es un poco fuerte, pero no está mal. El ticket es una pegatina de Crate Paper (Portrait).

Flowers are made by Prima. They were white, and I used Rose Tea Glimmer Mist and a homemade mist with brushed corduroy to change the color. I think it's a bit too strong, but not bad. The ticket is a sticker from Crate Paper (Portrait collection).
