Para esta página usé la plantilla de abril de Once Upon a Sketch, y la verdad es que me lo pasé muy bien haciendola, aunque no ha habido manera de sacarle una foto decente para subir aqui con el tiempo que está haciendo :(

For this layout I used the april sketch from Once Upon Sketch, and I had lots of fun making it. Unfortunately, I've not been able to take a decent photo because it's been cloudy and raining all the week :(

Los papeles son de BoBunny, de la colección Ambrosia; además he usado varios stickers de la colección. Las maripositas que estan por toda la pagina estan hechas con la troqueladora de Martha Stewart

Papers are from Bo Bunny (Ambrosia collection). I also used some stickers from the same collection. The small butterflies all over the page were made with a Martha Stewart punch.





La flor grande azul está hecha a mano y las demás son de Wild Orchid Crafts. Las dos naranjas están teñidas con glimmer mist Sunkissed Peach. La silla está cortada con la cameo, con varias capas, y teñida con tinta colorbox chestnut.

The big blue flower is handmade and the other ones are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The two orange ones were sprayed with Sunkissed Peach glimmer mist. The chair was cut with my silhouette cameo (I cut many layers) and inked with chestnut colorbox ink.

El reloj está hecho con la cameo y la técnica de falso chipboard, y embosado con povos de stampendous.

The clock was made with my silhouette cameo and the faux chipboard technique, and embossed with stampendous powder.

Y aqui os enseño una tarjeta que hice con los restos del layout de la Scraptupper. Normalmente no me gusta nada como me salen las tarjetas, pero esta no me disgusta y ademas fue muy rápida de hacer. Como en la pagina, todos los papeles son de la colección Country Garden de Bo Bunny, y la flor está hecha a mano

 

Future

Rebuscando entre fotos viejas encontré esta de cuando era bebé, y decidí aprovechar para hacer una página. Mucho recorte, mucho rosa y algo de marrón...y aqui el resultado. Gracias por visitarme!

Looking through old photos I found this one of me as a baby, and I decided to use it to make a layout. Lots of fussy cutting, lots of pink ,a bit of brown...and this is the result. Thanks for looking!

Usé la colección Kissing Booth de Basic Grey Los corazones están recortados de uno de los papeles. Para los banderines usé un papel de Echo Park.

Los globos son un sello de Glitz Design, los estampé sobre el fondo y sobre otro papel, los recorté de este último y los pegué con foam dots.

I used Basic Grey's Kissing Booth collection. The hearts were cut from one of the papers. I used an Echo Park paper for the pennants.

The hot air balloons are a Glitz Design's stamp. I stamped it twice: on the background paper and on a kaisercraft newspaper sheet. Then I cut and adhered them with foam dots.

Los botones son caseros, están hechos con varias capas de cartulina, acrílica rosa y UTEE.

Buttons are handmade, using a few layers of cardstock, pink acrylic paint and UTEE.

El botecito es un sello estampado y embosado. El gatito es un sello de paper smooches(gracias a Patricia por la estampación) coloreado con promarkers.  La frase "focus on the journey" es un sticker de Glitz Design.

The little jar is a stamp. The cat is a stamp too, from Paper Smooches (thanks Patricia for stamping it for me!) colored with promarkers. The sticker  that says "focus on the journey" is from Glitz Design.

Layout Shabby Chic

¿Os acordais del Primer Scraptupper que comentaba hace un par de semanas? Como decía, fue una especie de crop, y en una crop hay que scrapear algo, claro está :) Maria nos propuso hacer cada una un layout con un estilo diferente, para tener una idea de todos (o casi) los estilos de scrap, y la idea nos encantó.

Como tengo una obsesión con las flores, mariposas y perlas elegí el shabby chic, y aunque tiene unos colores algo más vivos de lo habitual en este estilo, creo que se acerca bastante. No os perdais todos los demás, son espectaculares! podeis verlos en Scrapbookpasion

When I posted my shadow box a few weeks ago  I said I had been to a crop, and what's a crop? a meeting to scrap! so we wanted to work on some project, and Maria proposed a fun idea: each of us would choose a scrapbooking style and do a layout trying to stick to it.

As I have an obsession with flowers, butterflies and bling, I chose the "shabby chic" style. I think the colors are a bit too bright, but otherwise the page fits the style rather well. Don't miss the other styles' works, they're spectacular!! You can see them at Scrapbookpasion

Los papeles son todos de la colección "country garden" de bo bunny,mas bonitooooooooos!! Además usé varios rubons de la colección.

Papers are from the collection "country garden" from Bo Bunny, soooooooo gorgeus!!!! I also used some rubons from the collections.

Las flores de color azul y crema estan hechas a mano (con el troquel Rose Creations de Donna Salazar) y añadí un poco de diamond dust a la grande.La flor amarilla es de Wild Orchid Crafts y las azules pequeñitas de ZVA.

The blue and cream flowers were handmade (using the Donna Salazar's Rose Creations die), and I added some diamond dust to the biggest one. The yellow flower is from Wild Orchid Crafts, and the small blue ones from ZVA.

Pinté la lampara (recortada con la silhouette cameo) con distress bundled sage y le di una capa de distress crackle paint.

I painted the street lamp (that was cut with my silhouette cameo) with distress ink bundled sage and applied a coat of distress crackle paint.

Las mariposas están hechas con la cameo, llevan dos tonos de pintura acrílica y stickles frosted lace.Las centrales están hechas con un troquel de die-namics.

The butterflies were cut with my cameo, I painted them with two colors of acrylic paint and added frosted lace stickles. The central ones were cut with a die-namics.

Todas estas mariposas están recortadas de los papeles.

I did lots of  fussy cutting, these butterflies were cut from the papers.

Al final he decidido subir el video que hice de prueba del ultimo layout. Aunque tiene muchisimos fallos que espero corregir si hago alguno más, me daba pena borrarlo sin más. Si quereis verlo podeis hacerlo aquí

Finally I've decided to upload the video I made about my last layout process. It has lots of mistakes and, if I make more videos, I'll try to do a better job but I didn't want to delete this one. If you want to watch it you can do it here

LO Family Time

Aunque la vuelta de vacaciones no me ha sentado nada bien, por fin  he conseguido sacar un rato para mi y terminar (por fin) esta página que tenía atascada desde que salió la paleta en TCR. Además quería probar a hacer un video del proceso, y no sé qué tal habrá salido...lo mismo nunca ve la luz jejeje.

Although getting back to routine has been hard I finally managed to have some "me" time and finish this page. I was stuck on it since the palette at TCR was released. Besides, I wanted to make a video of the process,and I don't know how it has turned out...maybe it's so bad I'll never post it

Los papeles son de Prima, Crate Paper (Emma's shoppe) y Echo Park (Victoria Garden).Detrás de la foto hay una transparencia de Glitz Design y algunos restos de otros papeles.

Las flores de Prima (la azul) y de Wild Orchid Crafts (las demás). El reloj, la jaula, el adorno de la derecha, los corazones...todo están cortado con la cameo y pintado con dabber espresso. Las mariposas grandes están cortadas con la cameo y llevan glitter. Las pequeñas son un regalo de mi amiga Esther. La cinta de film es de Tim Holtz.

Flowers are from Prima (the blue one) and Wild Orchid Crafts (the other ones). The clock, the birdcage, the heart string...all those embellies were cut with my silhouette cameo and painted with my dabber espresso. The big butterflies were cut with my cameo too, and I added some glitter to them; the small butterflies were a gift from my friend Esther.The film strip is from Tim Holtz.

Algunos regalitos/Some gifts

Hace poco fue el cumpleaños de Ana y Esther y,aunque con retraso, quise mandarles algunos detallitos.

A few weeks ago Ana and Esther had their birthday and I sent them these small gifts

Para Esther hice esta caja-tarjeta y un portanotas magnoliero. Dentro de la cajita metí varios troqueles

For Esther I made this box-card and a post-it holder. I put some die cuts inside the box.

La caja está cortada con la cameo, lo mismo que el "felicidades". Los ratoncitos son un sello, cortesía de Paula, y las flores son de Wild Orchid Crafts. Las maripositas son un regalo de Esther.

The box was cut with the silhouette cameo, same as the "felicidades" (congratulations) word. The mice are a stampmy friend Paula let me use, and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The small butterflies were a gift from Esther.

Usé un troquel de bordes de Martha Stewart para el borde (doily lace). La magnolia está coloreada con promarkers y la flor es de prima.

Shadow box

Bueno, lo primero gracias a todas por desearme un buen viaje, ha sido fantástico! lo malo la vuelta, claro. La ciudad me ha encantado, me he comprado muchísima ropa (scrap poco...menuda decepción), hemos andado una barbaridad, tengo fotos para parar un tren...un viaje estupendo, vamos.

Este fin de semana hemos tenido la "Primer Scraptupper", que viene siendo una reunion scrapera, y nos lo pasamos en grande! habrá que repetir muy pronto con la segunda jejeje.

Decidimos hacer un amigo invisible e intercambiar los regalos en la reunión, así que en cuanto se hizo el sorteo me puse a darle vueltas al asunto, porque me había tocado María, que ya tiene de todo! cajas, cajoneras, marcos, cuelgapuertas...vamos, no se me ocurría nada que no tuviese ya.

Justamente entonces colgaron en la tienda de Silhouette una shadowbox para cortar y montar, era perfecta!! Me puse a ello y montarla fue bastante sencillo, siguiendo los videos que colgó la autora (Lori Whitlock). Aunque tuve algunos problemas con el pegamento en ciertos puntos al final lo conseguí, y ya solo quedaba decorarla. Espero que os guste, y gracias por las visitas!

First of all, thank you all for your kind whishes. The trip was awesome! I was really sad to come back, loved the city! We saw lots of things, bought lots of clothes (not very much scrap stuff though...I was very dissapointed), made hundreds of photos...a wonderful trip!

This weekend we've had what we called the"First Scraptupper" (a crop), it's been so fun! we've had a great time and I hope that the "Second Scraptupper" will take place soon :)

We decided to make a gift exchange, like a Secret Santa. As soon as I knew who was my receiver (María)  I started to worry about what to do for her. Boxes, chest of drawers, frames...she had all those things already!

Then, at the silhouette online store, Lori Whitlock uploaded a shadow box. A shadow box to  cut with the cameo! it was perfect!! I followed her assembly tutorial and soon I had it assembled, ready to decorate. I hope you like it, and thank for looking!

Los papeles son de Websters Pages (Ladies and Gents), los elegí  porque tenían muchos motivos para recortar y decorar. En el borde de la caja estampé un sello de Prima con tinta versafine toffee. La cinta del borde es de Marianne Design. Para las patas usé unas perlas de esas de abalorios.

Papers are from Webster Pages (Ladies and Gents), I chose them because they are perfect for fussy cutting. I stamped a Prima mini stamp along the edges of the box with versafine toffee ink. The ribbon on the bottom is from Marianne Design. I used rounded pearls as legs.

La llave es del premio de Berry71Bleu, más bonita! los zapatos están hechos con la cameo y la técnica del falso chipboard, luego los pinté con acrílica rosa y les eché glimmer mist Rose Tea. Por último les di una capa de pintura craquelada Rock Candy. El abanico es un die cut de K&Company, y la flor es de Prima.

The key was part of the Berry71Bleu prize, so cute! I used my silhouette cameo and the faux chipboard technique to make the shoes, painted them with pink acrylic paint and misted them with Rose Tea Glimmer Mist. Finally, I applied them a coat of distress crackle paint Rock Candy. The fan is a K&Company die cut, and the flower is from Prima.

El guardapelo del centro también es de Berry71Bleu. La etiqueta "Oh la la" es un adorno de tela de Webster Pages. El abanico, el marco del espejo y el maniquí están hechos con la silhouette cameo .

The locket is from Berry71Bleu too. The "Oh la la" sticker is a fabric embellishment from Webster Pages. The fan, the mirror frame and the dressform were cut with the silhouette cameo.
