Ha sido una gozada trabajar con esta plantilla. He usado algunas fotos antiguas de mi abuelo materno, son algunas de mis preferidas y quería darle un aire vintage pero no muy femenino. No me disgusta el resultado, ¿y a vosotras? No dejeis ver las interpretaciones del resto del equipo de Sketchabilities ¡preciosas!

I really enjoyed working with this sketch. I used some old photos of my grandfather wich I love and I tried to get a vintage and masculine look. I´m pretty satisfied with the result, what do you think? Don´t forget to visit Sketchabilities and see the wonderful layouts by the DT!!

Esta foto es una de mis preferidas de mi preciosa gatita, y estaba deseando hacer una página con ella ¡así que aquí está! Espero que os guste

Hello everyone! I´m not updating much lately, I have exams and right now there are some huge demonstrations here, so I haven´t got much free time.This is one my favorite photos of my lovely cat, and I was looking forward to using it in a layout. So here it is! I hope you like it

Bienvenidos a mi nuevo blog / Welcome to my new blog

¡Hola a tod@s! os doy la bienvenida a mi nuevo blog. Me he cambiado porque blogger me estaba dando bastantes problemas y me llevaba mucho tiempo hacer que funcionasen las cosas, así que espero que ahora me vaya mejor! Como veis he importado todas las entradas, los comentarios, los seguidores, las etiquetas...vamos, todo! (por cierto, es super fácil, si hay alguien interesado que me pregunte y le echo una mano).

Como veis he cambiado también el nombre...bueno, esto es porque he visto que bastante gente llegaba al blog buscando la famosa cancioncilla "little ball of fur" y claro, no van buscando un blog de scrap.

Lo que sí os pediría es que cambiéis la dirección en vuestros blogrolls, enlaces y todas esas cosas, porque dejaré de publicar en el otro blog y si el enlace va al blog antiguo no saldrán las actualizaciones. ¡Siento las molestias!

 

Hello everybody! Welcome to my new blog! I´ve just moved to wordpress because I was having some issues with blogger (the blog didn´t update and things like that). I´ve spent too much time trying to fix it, so finally I decided to move on.

As you can see I imported posts, comments, tags, followers..everything! However, I ask you to change the url in your blogrolls, links and that stuff. I won´t post anymore on my old blog, so if you don´t update the link (just change "lbofscraps.blogspot.com" for "littlescrapworld.com") you won´t be able to see the updates. Sorry for all the inconvenience!

 

Sketchabilities #47: Hello baby

Hello everyone! This is my take on Karan´s gorgeus sketch 47. I used a photo of me when I was a baby with my grandfather. Don´t miss the design team´s awesome creations!

Hola de nuevo! Aquí os traigo mi versión de la maravillosa plantilla 47 de Karan. La foto es de cuando era bebé, con mi abuelo. No os perdais las creaciones del equipo de diseño, son espectaculares!

Para el papel de fondo utilicé un papel beige de prima. Primero embosé algunos sellos con tinta y polvos transparentes; luego elegí un par de máscaras y las puse sobre el papel. Entonces lo pulvericé con mist caseros: morado (hecho con un reinker dusty concord), marrón (hecho con un reinker tea dye) y rosa (reinker worn lipstick).

To make the background paper I first embossed some stamps with clear ink and powder, and put some masks over the paper. Then I sprayed it with some homemade mists: purple (made with dusty concord reinker), brown (made with tea dye reinker) and pink (made with worn lipstick reinker).

Para el árbol corté cartón con la cricut, le di una capa de gesso y otra de acrílica blanca. Le eché barniz de craquelado de Aleene y cuando se secó le di una capa de pintura acrílica marrón. Me gusta bastante el resultado,¿qué os parece a vosotras?

To make the tree I cut lightweight chipboard with my cricut and applied one coat of gesso. Then I painted it with white acrylic paint and applied Aleene´s quick crackle. When it dried I painted it again with brown acrylic paint. I like the result, what do you think?

Mini album para Maria/ Mini Album for Maria

Este mini se lo regalé a Maria por su cumple, hace ya varios meses...y hoy por fin se me ha ocurrido subirlo aquí! las fotos son muy malas porque las hice con prisa y sin luz, así que más que verlo tendreis que intuirlo jajaja. Mide 15x15 cm y la base es cartón fino, del de cereales, recortado con la cricut.

This mini book was a present for Maria, for her brithday that was in January...and finally I decided to show it here. Photos are pretty bad, I made them quickly and without light. It measures 6x6 inches, and I used cereal boxes for the base, cutting them with my cricut.

Hace tiempo que tenía estos preciosos papeles de Webster´s Pages y estaba deseando utilizarlos..y por fin encontré la foto perfecta! tiene ya casi 20 años pero es tan dulce...tenía que usarla. Me lo he pasado en grande con este layout, recortando motivos de los papeles y poniendo adornitos. ¡Espero que os guste y mil gracias por vuestras visitas y comentarios!

I was looking forward to using these gorgeus Webster´s papers and at last I found the perfect photo! It was taken 20 years ago but it´s so sweet...and my cousin looks adorable! I´ve had lots of fun with this layout, with lots of fussy cutting and embellishments. Hope you like it and thanks for your visits and comments!!
