A perfect day: Once upon a sketch

Antes de seguir con el mini os enseño una página que hice siguiendo la plantilla de Once Upon a Sketch. La foto es de mi madre hace ya muchos años, la elegí porque quería regalarle la página, y sabía que esta foto le iba a gustar. La verdad es que para mi gusto está muy guapa.

Before posting more photos of the mini I´ll show the layout I´ve made with the Once Upon a Sketch sketch. I wanted to give the layout as a present to my mother, so I chose this beautiful picture of her, it was taken many years ago but she really likes it.The journaling says something like that a perfect day is having nothing to do, but all day to do it




Utilicé una colección preciosa de Fancy Pants (Lilac House). El papel de fondo lo envejecí con agua. La mariposa la corté con la cricut en cartón fino, la pinté con glimmer glaze y tinta distress, y después le di una capa de pintura craquelada rock candy. El arabesco está hecho con liquid pearls, un poco churro :( Las flores están hechas por mi, espero poder hacer tuto pronto!

I used a Fancy Pants collection (Lilac house), wich is gorgeus! I did wet distressing on the background paper. The butterfly was cut with my cricut in lightweight chipboard, I painted it with glimmer glaze and distress ink (milled lavender). Then I painted it again with rock candy crackle paint. I made the swirl with liquid pearls, I have to improve my technique!
The flowers are handmade, hope to post a tutorial soon.
